The Museum at Blue Mountain Lake

This major permanent exhibition will be dedicated to the story of African Americans and their experiences, past and present, in the Adirondacks. For the first time, visitors to the Adirondacks will be able to learn about topics ranging from African Americans’ role in the settlement and development of the region to efforts currently underway today to guarantee that African Americans have equal access to all the Adirondacks has to offer.
