Construct a Learning Curve
The challenge: conceive, design, and build a memorable, eye-catching environment for GE to communicate its emerging health care initiatives to a broad range of customers and constituents. Install the environment in a prominent storefront location on New York's Fifth Avenue. Deadline from start to finish: 10 weeks. The result: an impressive showcase created with suspended sinuous forms inspired by the human body, evocative exhibits, and media. A collaboration among Thinc Design (Exhibit and Sculpture Design), Urban A&O (Architectural Design), Local Projects (Media Design and Production), and HyperQuake (Storylines and character development). |
